BACKGROUND: Rhino is a 3D Computer Graphics and a CAD Application Software developed by the American company Robert McNeel & Associates. It is known for its compatibility with other software as it supports over 30 CAD formats for importing and exporting.

TRAINING OBJECTIVE: Participants will be able to model using the NURBS system of modeling which would allow you to model more complex models, and more organic and non uniform objects and surfaces.

COURSE OUTLINE:

  • Day 1– Introduction, Motivational Videos, Software Installation, User Interface and Basic Modeling
  • Day 2– Simple House with Site and Surrounding, importing objects with site and summary
  • Day 3– Designing furniture( simple chairs) designing furniture (sofa) and Designing home appliances and summary
  • Day 4- Remodeling a popular local structure and Vray for Rhino (National Theatre, Lagos)
  • Day 5- Grasshopper for Rhino

TIME TABLE:

LAGOS: 13th – 18th August, 2018, 10:00am to 1:00pm, 1 hour break, 2:00pm to 5:00pm

ABUJA: 27th – 31st August, 2018, 10:00am to 1:00pm, 1 hour break, 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Rhinoceros 5 and 6 software 1 month trial version

  • OpenGL 4.1 capable video card is recommended.
  • No more than 63 CPU Cores.
  • Multiple-button mouse with scroll wheel is recommended.

  • The SpaceNavigator and SpaceMouse Wireless are supported.
